So, this was another product that I got to try for free thanks to Swati aka CanadianReviewFreak, VicTsingDirect and Amazon. Very grateful for this opportunity. I was not entirely sure if I truly needed an essential oils diffuser but this one is so pretty and so easy to use, I absolutely fell in love!
When I first got the product it was like in one of those shows where you open a big box, and find another smaller box inside...thankfully it did not go beyond two boxes! I guess Amazon has to pack the products really well despite them being already boxed nicely, but boy sometimes it does feel like a waste of cardboard (yep I do care about environment so adding to waste concerns me).
The diffuser comes with a water measuring cup and a cord that needs to be attached to the bottom of the diffuser. The way this is done, the cord never gets in the way and cannot tip the diffuser over. Pretty clever if you ask me.
The diffuser itself has two parts, the base and the top that comes off so that you can fill the "cup" inside with water and a few drops of your favourite essential oil.
At the base of the diffuser, there are two buttons allowing you to choose setting - one is for changing the colour of the diffuser, the other for creating mist, allowing the diffuser to act as a humidifier and disperse the aromas of the essential oils. You can run the mist & colours at once; or you can opt for no colour, just the mist.
The colours rotate within a few seconds...here is a sample of those :) Pretty, right?
The device automatically shuts off after 3 hours, unless you change one of the other settings (there are four altogether - continuous mist, 3-hour pattern, lights only and mist only mode).
