Looks like I am missing out on a bunch of recent campaigns by #ChickAdvisor. Makes me pretty sad to not be picked for so many in a row....Amope, Polysporin, Motts, Lime Soda.....would have loved to try and review those.
Hopefully I can get into some of the future campaigns. Fingers crossed!!

Nivea Q10 plus Serum Pearls
Nivea was sending out samples of their new product, Q10 Plus Serum Pearls. Love love love this product. I know Nivea does not claim they are organic and all that jazz, but somehow my overly sensitive skin responds well to majority of Nivea products. So if they are putting chemicals in, clearly it's chemicals that I can handle. I cannot even count how many "all natural" and "dermatologically tested" products almost put me on corticosteroids...while it never happened with Nivea. Weird huh. But back to this product....The cream is nicely rich but does not feel greasy. Easy to apply and my skin felt instantly nourished...and it does help with wrinkles, yay! It smells nice as well.
The sample came with a coupon for $5 off - cannot beat that, not many manufacturers give such a big discount amount!
Thumbs up - I am definitely buying once I run out my current moisturizers.

Brand Backer tryout
So, I emailed Brand Backer to see if they serve only US market or if they have campaigns in Canada too. I received a generic email back about signing up, with a note to not hesitate to contact them if I have any questions. Emailed back with the same question, as there is no point in signing up if they have nothing for Canadians....no response so far.
Giving it a shot, hope I won't regret sharing my email address considering I have not gotten my question answered yet.

Cannot wait :)
I have been notified that my next trial product will be a Wine Aerator by Bar Brat. Cannot wait! I love wine and if the aerator works as described it will bring my love for wine to the next level! :)

Vidal Sassoon Carnaby Copper Red 4RC
I had the opportunity to try Vidal Sassoon Carnaby Copper Red 4RC for free. It is a lot bolder shade than what I usually use, but I did not have "crazy" colors in the past so I was up for it. Change is good!
The color was easy to mix and did not have strong smell to it - that is always a nice bonus! Gloves provided were good quality and actually fit me better than most! I just hate the gloves with some colors that are basically just piece of plastic.
The mixture looked pretty orange which made me wonder if my hair would turn out to be the color shown on the box or if it would be more orange looking. I followed the directions, and in 30 mins the color was set. It took a while to wash it out but it was not an unreasonable amount of time and water.
My hair is definitely more on the orange-y side rather than dark red pictured on the box, but I actually do like it - copper is kind of orange too so it's not a big deal that my suspicion this would happen came true. It's lighter by the roots than by the ends of my hair but that happens with most colors as I have some greys to cover so again, this was somewhat expected (even though I hoped it would not happen, I won't lie).
Now I am curious if the color will last 48 washes and will submit another review once I know :)
Positives: All in all, I am pretty happy with the color choice I made, it's fun to have hair color that pops a bit more than my usual medium ash brown! Easy to apply, not overly messy, and definitely cheaper than going to a salon!
Negatives: I wish it was a bit faster for the color to process, 30 mins is a long time, would have also appreciated if it was ammonia free (the box did not say that so I assume it does have ammonia).
Giving 4 out 5 stars - great color but doesn't look like the color on the box plus the other negatives I mentioned. Still a product I would use again and plan on purchasing in the near future.

Cascade Platinum
The other day I got to try a product that has nothing to do with cosmetics. Pretty exciting to have something to use in my kitchen! It was Cascade Platinum Action Packs. I have been sent free samples in exchange for a completely unbiased review.
I have had issues with residue on my dishes for a while. We have a new dishwasher but I think the builder of our home cheaped out and got some mediocre appliances. Yes they are stainless steel but honestly, if I had a choice, I would have picked out completely different ones. Oh well. The dishwasher, despite the sleek stainless steel look, typically does a worse job than a 10yr old dishwasher in our old house....so I did not have extremely high expectations of Cascade.
Thankfully, I was shown clean dishes can happen even in our underperforming dishwasher! I still have to prewash some stuff such as eggs stuck on a plate...but I don't have to prewash nearly as much as before. And the glasses are coming out of the dishwasher sparkling clean, without any residue. I couldn't be any happier.
I checked out prices and these packs are quite pricey but I think I will spend the money once I run out of the samples - not having to worry about clouding or residue is simply worth it.

CeraVe Eye Repair Cream
I was lucky enough to be picked for the #CeraVe #SuperMom product review, and the eye repair cream was part of this package. I got it free in exchange for an absolutely unbiased review.
I have quite sensitive skin and LOVE LOVE LOVE this cream. Being a new Mom and not getting enough sleep sure makes me pay the price when it comes to my looks haha.
I truly appreciate how well this cream works for me. Just as promised, it does reduce puffiness and it makes the area around my eyes look smoother and healthier. It even helps with the dark circles around my eyes.
It is reasonably priced compared to many products that simply did not work for me, it smells nice, it absorbs quickly, and you get a nice amount for the price paid. Once I run out of my free product I am definitely buying it. I am in love with this eye cream!

Vichy Idealia Life Serum
I was pretty excited to get this product for free in exchange for an unbiased review.
Sadly I had a bad reaction to the product. Applied it in the evening as part of my regular bedtime routine, and woke up to bright red patches on my face. Continued to use the product in the hopes of things getting better, but it did not happen, the redness never disappeared until after I reverted to my usual facial routine. So unfortunately this product is a no for me. I am disappointed, it smells really nice, it's so easy to apply, it has great texture, it absorbs nicely, and the packaging is just luxurious. Too bad my skin is oversensitive to what is in the serum :(
One thing that I have to add - I was very impressed with the campaign leadership for this particular product testing campaign. I was contacted via email within matter of a couple of days after posting my review, asking how I was doing. They also contacted Vichy directly and I was provided with a number for Vichy's customer care in case I had any further concerns or questions.
That's what I call caring for your product testers...Thumbs up to @ChickAdvisor!

CeraVe Bébé Diaper Rash Cream
I have received this cream in the #SuperMom package for free in exchange for an unbiased review. Having a young baby this was a great campaign to be part of. Absolutely great cream! Unlike some of the other diaper rash creams on the market, this one is super light and does not stain clothes. It reduces redness in the bum area super quickly. I am always hesitant to put any creams on my daughter as she is under 6 months and the less chemicals I can use the better, but this cream absolutely won me over. Will definitely buy once I run out my free product.
