Her parents have been murdered by Russian mob and understandably enough, she is seeking revenge. She has a little PTSD going on...and who wouldn't!
The book is full of drama and action and gets you hungry for more! So many unexpected twists and turns!

Book 1 of the Mind Dimensions series: The Thought Readers
The Thought Readers is a fast paced, action-filled, Sci-Fi-Fantasy story by Dima Zales & Anna Zaires. It is narrated in the first person by the main character, Darren.
The story has quite interesting storylines and is full of unexpected events that keep you riveted to your seat waiting for more.
Darren, main character of the story, is not your typical teenager. He has the ability to freeze time... He doesn't know how he does it or why. He calls this time stopping...the quiet. During this "quiet" he is totally unaffected. Everyone around him will be "frozen". It is no coincidence that with the help of this ability, he finished Harvard by the age of 18 and has an amazing Wall Street job at 21...
By accident he meets a girl, who can do the same thing he can...stop time. Now he now knows he is not alone.
As a character, Darren is quite likable and makes you, the reader, care about what happens next.
I cannot wait to finish book 2!
Book 2 - The Thought Pushers
Book 2 starts where we left off in book 1. We learn more about Darren, his powers as well as about the other side, the Pushers. We also get some answers about Darren's family (I suspected who/what they were a little bit before the truth came out) and to this mysterious 'pusher'. It also dives into the Darren-Mira relationship....and we learn that he has a relative! With that being said, I promised no spoilers so I won't tell you anything else aside for...it's not as it all seems and raises more questions while solving previous ones...
Yet again the story keeps you on your toes!
