I love my cast iron and this griddle is no different from the rest of my stuff - it's awesome! Sturdy, easy to maintain, easy to use. I used to be intimidated by cast iron but discovered how to properly care for it and since then fell in love with it. The silicone handle cover this griddle comes with is pretty useful.
