Playtex Diaper Genie Diaper Pail System Refills, 3 pack

I might have gotten a bad batch but one of the rings had the plastic "bag" stuck and when I tried to put it in the genie as directed, it ripped.

Considering these are technically really overpriced garbage bags, I was not very impressed to loose even an inch of the refill due to malfunction.

The diaper genie does keep odors out so I will keep using it - but I seriously wish the refills were at a more reasonable price.

Pro Beauty 1" Professional Extra Long Curling Wand, 1 Count

Overall, a nice iron if you are not spoiled like me and used to very high quality professional grade irons. I am giving it three stars out of five.
I will list some pros and cons....

Pros
- it is longer than other irons so awesome for long hair
- it heats up super fast
- multiple heat settings
- very comfortable handle
- manual display (my preference)
- comes with a glove to protect your hand against the heat

Cons
- if you like ceramic irons, this one is not ceramic
- the temp setting is not a digital display (not an issue for me, but speaking with a couple of friends, they insist that is the best thing ever)
- I needed to use quite a bit of product to get the promised all day long curls and the highest setting, even though my hair is not super thick



All in all, a great product for someone who isn't super high maintenance when it comes to their irons or someone who cannot or doesn't want to spend the money on a professional grade iron. It does the job. I do use my irons on a daily basis so over time I got super picky - it took me a while to find an iron that I am happy with. With that being said, this iron is most certainly superior to those sold in drug stores.

Okay I am in love. I thought I had nice washcloths for my baby until I opened a package of these! They are so incredibly SOFT. I have not touched a softer washcloth yet. The box they come in is super cute and each washcloth is individually "taped". I started using them on my baby and I just couldn't resist using them for myself as well. This is seriously a perfect baby shower gift or a gift for anyone with sensitive skin.
The only thing I wish was slightly different is a variety of colours in one box instead of all of them being white - so that each family member can claim their colour :)

Little Northern Bakehouse gluten free bread

This is a pretty good gluten free bread! My little one was not overly keen on it (she is used to 100% whole wheat bread) but I liked it! It's super light and I'd say fluffy. I have to admit though I enjoyed it way better toasted than just "as is" - it was a bit crumbly when "as is" while toasted it had just the right texture. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is gluten intolerant or celiac, or vegan.  The price is also reasonable for a gluten free vegan product - we all know gluten free items tend to be pricier than regular items.

This bread comes in three varieties - Millet & Chia; Seeds & Grains; Cinnamon & Raisin and can be found in a number of stores in their gluten free section. I got mine at a local Save On Foods store.

STOTT PILATES Yoga Mat, 0.25"/6mm/X-Large, Purple/Grey

Super comfy mat for pilates and yoga! It is slightly longer and definitely thicker than your usual mat. The color is rich purple on one side and dark grey on the other. It offers great grip on both sides - I have super slippery hardwood floor and no matter what exercise I do, it stays put. The grey side has a tiny bit less grip when you are on it but still enough to make me think it might not be the best option for poses that require sliding. Perfect mat for a tall person but good for short people as well - more room to roam :) I also loved that it came in minimal packaging - yay for the environment - though if it came in a carry bag that would have been even more awesome!
All in all, very good product. If anything changes with long term use, will update the review. I have had the same mat for a few years so I will most certainly be comparing this one to my old mat.

Viva Naturals Sweet Almond Oil 16 fl oz, 100% Pure and Hexane Free

This oil is absolutely amazing. It comes well sealed and with a pump so depending on you use it, you can either pour it from the bottle or use the pump. I absolutely LOVE that this oil is SCENT-FREE. I get migraines from a lot of scents, including some of the drug/department store body lotions and/or oils so having something like this is perfect for me. There is absolutely NO smell to it - there is no smell when you sniff the bottle, and there is no smell once you apply it on your skin.

You can either apply it directly on your skin to moisturize, you can apply it on a cotton ball and use as a makeup remover; or you can make DIY cosmetic products from it.

So far I have used it on my skin and hair directly, and I tried a DIY lip balm - the recipe I had was not the best so I still have some searching to do to be able to make the perfect lip balm.

So far this product works better for me than coconut oil - I feel like even the best quality coconut oil leaves weird smell on my skin but this lovely almond oil does not.
